Medical Drug and Alcohol Detox
At Granite Recovery Centers, our NH drug and alcohol rehab center offers medical detox as the first step in the recovery process for individuals struggling with addiction. Addiction affects both the mind and the body, and medical detox addresses both of these aspects to help clients safely and comfortably rid their bodies of drugs and alcohol under medical supervision. This allows them to be alert and focused as they move on to primary treatment. Our medical detoxification program is designed for individuals who do not require immediate medical intervention, are not a danger to themselves, and are capable of evacuating in an emergency situation.
Our NH drug and alcohol rehab center offers medical detox as the initial step in the recovery journey for individuals struggling with addiction. Addiction impacts both the mind and the body, and medical detox addresses both of these facets to help clients safely and comfortably eliminate drugs and alcohol from their system under medical supervision. This enables them to be alert, focused, and clear-minded as they transition into primary treatment. In primary treatment, clients participate in both group and individual clinical therapies, fully immerse themselves in the 12-Step curriculum, refrain from using drugs or alcohol, take accountability for their actions, and complete basic chores.

Intensive Outpatient Drug Rehab Program
Outpatient drug rehab programs are typically the final stage of treatment, allowing clients to gradually reintegrate into everyday life. Our extended care programs also offer intensive outpatient treatment, in which clients reside at one of our extended care facilities and attend intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) at a nearby location. These programs can vary in terms of the level of support and programming provided. IOPs generally require clients to participate in a minimum of 10 hours of clinical, holistic, and 12-step sessions per week.
Holistic Therapies
Holistic therapies seek to heal and harmonize the mind, body, and spirit when any or all of these aspects are unwell. Body-oriented therapies such as yoga, meditation, and exercise help to calm the mind, strengthen the body, and foster spiritual balance. At GRC, these therapies complement our hybrid clinical/12-Step drug and alcohol rehab program, helping clients address physical and mental imbalances and find healing through mindfulness and self-acceptance.
